Wade Boggs, recently inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, has a net worth of $28 Million. Played third base in his career, he started on the Red Sox, moving next to the Yankees, much to the dimsay of Bostonians, and finally ending his career with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
His career batting aveverage is an impressive .328, with 3,010 hits. While in the minor league, he played in the longest game in professional baseball history, at 33 innings and lasting over 8 1/2 hours. After the Yankee’s won the series in game 6, he proceeded to jump on the back of a NYPD horse and ride it around the field with his index finger in the air… despite openly admitting he had a big fear of horses.
